  • How many sessions are there and what does it cost?
    If you are funding your own coaching - each 60 min session costs $185NZ + GST. If your workplace is funding your coaching - each 60 min session costs $235NZ + GST. The Inner Critic to Inner Coach package is a minimum of 5 sessions.
  • Will 1-to-1 coaching with Dr Bex get rid of my Inner Critic?
    Perhaps surprisingly, no! Believe it or not, having a critical voice in our mind is actually really normal and necessary (to a certain degree!) Our Inner Critic is there to warn us against doing stuff that might cause rejection by others. It’s a tough ask to get rid of this voice completely. Instead, our goal in coaching is learning how to connect with this self-critical part of you, in an empowering way so you minimise the negative impact and influence it’s having.
  • Do I need coaching or should I just read Dr Bex's Inner Critic to Inner Coach book?
    The book is a fantastic place to start learning about the Inner Critic. The book includes a bunch of practical advice for managing your Inner Critic, at your own pace. Where 1-to-1 coaching can help is by offering sessions personalised to you and your life, as well as having an 'accountability buddy' to help the new skills you’re learning really stick.
