In her 1-to-1 Emotional fitness coaching sessions, Dr Bex helps you understand the ‘FIT’ Method. The 'FIT' method helps you learn simple but powerful ways to regulate your emotions, understand what they're trying to show you, and navigate your life and career with emotional resilience and confidence.

Emotions can be overwhelming when you're not sure what they are. We practice how to identify all your feelings for better emotional resilience. 

'I' FOR INVITE THE EMOTION IN

Emotions take over when we resist or ignore them. We work on strategies to accept all emotions so you can use the intelligence they offer. 

'T' FOR TAKE ACTION

Emotions can paralyse us. We plan how to take courageous action and perform at your best even when it feels scary, hard, or uncomfortable.

  • How many sessions are there and what does it cost?
    If you are funding your own coaching - each 60 min session costs $185NZ + GST. If your workplace is funding your coaching - each 60 min session costs $235NZ + GST. The Inner Critic to Inner Coach package is a minimum of 5 sessions.
  • Will 1-to-1 coaching with Dr Bex get rid of my Inner Critic?
    Perhaps surprisingly, no! Believe it or not, having a critical voice in our mind is actually really normal and necessary (to a certain degree!) Our Inner Critic is there to warn us against doing stuff that might cause rejection by others. It’s a tough ask to get rid of this voice completely. Instead, our goal in coaching is learning how to connect with this self-critical part of you, in an empowering way so you minimise the negative impact and influence it’s having.
  • Do I need coaching or should I just read Dr Bex's Inner Critic to Inner Coach book?
    The book is a fantastic place to start learning about the Inner Critic. The book includes a bunch of practical advice for managing your Inner Critic, at your own pace. Where 1-to-1 coaching can help is by offering sessions personalised to you and your life, as well as having an 'accountability buddy' to help the new skills you’re learning really stick.
